Balsamic-Glazed Steak over Cheesy Spinach Orzo

Balsamic-glazed steak over cheesy spinach orzo. that’s it. that’s the recipe. the steak’s seared in garlic and butter, the orzo’s creamy and loaded with parmesan and spinach, and the whole thing comes together in under 30 minutes. simple, solid, and flavorful.

Quick Tips:

  • Marinate that steak. Even just a few hours with the balsamic and Worcestershire makes a huge difference in flavor

  • Sear in cast iron if you can — it gives you that crusty edge and seals in all the juices

  • Don’t skip the rest time. Letting the steak sit under foil keeps it juicy and lets the flavors settle in

  • Use fresh spinach. It wilts perfectly into the orzo and doesn’t turn watery like frozen

  • Add parm off heat. It melts smoother and keeps the orzo creamy instead of stringy

  • Too thick? Add a splash of water or milk at the end to loosen up the orzo and keep it silky
