No, this isn’t really your traditional goulash. It’s my version. Either way, it’s just one of those cozy, no thoughts just carbs dinners. Saucy beef, tender pasta, lots of cheese. You can’t go wrong.

Cheesy Beef Goulash

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in large dutch oven over medium heat, add onion and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until softened.
  2. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned and no longer pink, then stir in worcestershire sauce, some salt and pepper, and stir until evenly coated.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, paprika, garlic powder, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then simmer 5 to 7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Add cooked pasta directly to sauce and stir until fully coated.
  5. Stir in cheddar cheese and mix until melted throughout.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
